Understanding Owner Administrators

When a new Volunteer Scheduler Pro license is created, the person whose email address was used to sign up becomes that license's first administrator, and is labeled as the "Owner" administrator for the license. Each VSP database has exactly one Owner administrator.

In addition to being able to do everything that a standard administrator can do, Owner administrators are the only ones who can view and edit the information on the Administrators page. 

Unlike standard administrators, whose permissions can be edited, Owner administrators must have all admin permissions.

If the current Owner wishes to make a different admin into the Owner, they can do so by clicking on the down arrow next to that admin's "Edit" button and selecting "Make owner":

Note: Because there can only be one Owner per license, this will also change the person who had been the Owner into a standard administrator, and they will lose access to the Administrators page.
